Nottingham Cellars, Livermore Valley, CA
Nottingham Cellars was founded in 2009 as a tribute to the Livermore Valley. Once referred to as the Town of Nottingham, the winery pays homage to the area as it celebrates its growth. Livermore California's history of premium wines dates back to as early as 1849. 160 years later, Nottingham Cellars is continuing in that tradition. Nottingham Cellars has made it their mission to continue to improve the overall perception of the valley by producing small-lot vintages of wine produced from only the best vineyards in Livermore. We will be pouring a variety of their wines including Viognier, Chardonnay, Syrah, and Cabernet Sauvignon.
Thomas Coyne Winery, Livermore Valley, CA
Over looking the charm of rustic old barns, lush vineyards and Mt. Diablo as a backdrop is Thomas Coyne Winery; located in South Livermore Valley, CA.Thomas Coyne, the winemaker, started producing wine in 1989 under his own label. In 1994 he reopened the old "Chateau Bellevue Winery", built in 1881 by French engineer Alexander Duvall. In this historical winery you will be greeted by Tom and Emilie Coyne oering samples of their fine handcrafted wines. The wines consistently win awards in local, regional, and state competition. The grapes are purchased from the Livermore Valley, El Dorado County and Contra Costa County. Wines produced are Merlot, Mourvédre, Petite Sirah, Syrah, Grenache.

Sessions Syrah, San Francisco based winemaker Brian Frank
Incredibly small production wine not available to the consumer, with art done by local artist Brian Barneclo. Brian Frank has generously donated 6 bottles of his Syrah for tasting, made from Santa Barbara County grapes.
Ravenswood Winery, Sonoma, CA
Ravenswood employs relatively archaic winemaking techniques. Instead of sterilizing their juice with sulfur and adding a commercial yeast culture, they use native vineyard yeasts that have a broader range of flavors and aromas. They ferment in small, open-topped tanks and allow the temperature of the juice to get very warm to extract all the color and flavor possible. They leave the wine in contact with its skins for weeks, not days, after which it's aged in small French oak barrels whose avors are consistent with their wines, particularly Zinfandel. Ravenswood has donated 3 magnums for tasting.
