Chantal serves as a Legal Intern on the Fresno, Solano, Santa Barbara and Sacramento Counties team to help with technical assistance for these communities. Some of which consists of conducting legal research and data reporting, synthesizing public policy, and generally assisting in local and agency-level responses to homelessness. She is particularly interested in the Coordinated Entry System as a positive solution to homelessness. Additionally, Chantal is passionate about the relationship of various social entities—such as education, employment and criminal justice—with the issue of homelessness.
She holds a Bachelor’s in History, with a minor in Political Science from UCLA, as well as a Certificate of Specialization in Communication Studies. Prior to starting her law degree, Chantal worked in technology and participated in various social and political organizations. She is currently a Juris Doctor candidate at the University of San Francisco School of Law. A Bay Area native, Chantal loves enjoying the outdoors whenever possible, visiting local museums and cooking with her sister, or discovering new places to go out to eat with friends.
