Increasing Operational Capacity
Meeting the needs of the many people homeless and at-risk in our communities requires not only the development of new programs, but also ensuring that existing programs are operating at maximum capacity. HomeBase assists agencies to increase their service capacity through strategies such as enhanced intra- and inter-agency coordination, identification of new sources of funding, and the development of improved operating systems and use of technology and computerization. This includes assistance with financial planning, board development, and staff training and management, as well as help in achieving better collaboration and integration with the mainstream service system.
