Program Evaluation
Evaluation and assessement of programs is necessary to ensure continual improvement in the effectiveness of services provided to clients. Through evaluation, communities and agencies can learn which strategies are effective and which need to be changed or adjusted. In addition, evaluation is vital from a fundraising perspective in that it can provide concrete data demonstrating both need and effectiveness of programmatic interventions. HomeBase works with communities and agencies to design and carry out program evaluations, including development of overall methodology, outcome measures, and data collection materials; analysis of information collected; and application of results to future planning, program development, and public education efforts. Central to our approach is the involvement of clients in all aspects of the evaluation.
