As a Sr. Policy Analyst at Homebase, Mark provides training, technical assistance, and support to communities in order to strengthen their capacity to center and address the needs of people experiencing houselessness. He is passionate about advancing social justice and dismantling oppressive systems. Prior to Homebase, he worked for over a decade in the nonprofit sector working in the areas of health equity, youth organizing, and community development. He has considerable experience writing and managing grants, designing and implementing programs, building organizational capacity, and working with diverse populations. Mark holds a BA in Communications from UC San Diego and an MPA from the University of San Francisco. He is a proud son of immigrants and was born and raised in the Bay Area. Mark has stayed a loyal fan of the Warriors and A’s, even through the many lean years. In his free time, he enjoys playing basketball, reading, hiking, and making music playlists.
