As a Senior Staff Attorney at Homebase, Nicole works with Continuums of Care to provide trainings, technical assistance, and support in evaluating and addressing needs and goals according to evidence-based best practices.

Prior to joining Homebase, Nicole litigated family law matters with a focus on mental health and involuntary psychiatric hospitalizations. Before studying law, Nicole worked as a director of transitional housing programs for families experiencing homelessness. Inspired by her personal experiences with homelessness and poverty, Nicole is committed to working with communities to create collaborative solutions to address these issues.

A native of Detroit, Michigan, Nicole currently resides in the Washington, DC metro area. She holds a BS in Psychology and an MSW from Howard University; and a JD from the David A. Clarke School of Law.
