
David Dirks
Sr. Staff Attorney
As a Senior Staff Attorney at Homebase, David works on our Federal HUD TA team to provide trainings, technical assistance, and support in evaluating and addressing needs and goals according to evidence-based best practices. Before joining Homebase, David served as the Director of Meetings and Events for the National Alliance to End Homelessness, a national organization whose sole purpose is to use research and data to find solutions to homelessness, advocate for policy, and assist communities in implementing the solutions. David also serves as a volunteer attorney with the Pro Bono Resource Center of Maryland, providing legal counsel to clients through the Tenant Volunteer Lawyer of the Day program and the Consumer Protection Project. David is a native of Los Angeles, CA, and holds a BS in Business Marketing from Grambling State University of Louisiana and a JD from Howard University School of Law. In his spare time, David likes to plan and attend live events such as concerts, festivals and enjoys working with artists to realize their dreams.
