Policy Analyst

As a Policy Analyst at Homebase, Katie Winkelstein-Duveneck assists the HUD team with financial and grant activities including budgets, invoicing, activity reporting, and managing Homebase’s work plans in the HUD Technical Assistance Portal and Disaster Reporting Grant Recovery System. Over the past 15 years Katie has worked on various projects for Homebase, including creating and managing databases. Katie lives in New York City, where she teaches English, creative writing, and courses on institutionalized and incarcerated writers to students ages 17 to 90. Katie holds a Master of Fine Arts from Emerson College and a Bachelor of Arts from Bard College.
