Lily is a Staff Attorney at Homebase. Her work with Homebase includes technical assistance services, training development and provision, policy strategy and advocacy, and community engagement. Lily has extensive experience working in poverty law and on behalf of people impacted by the criminal justice system. This informs her work at Homebase, where she examines inequities in community homelessness systems, and spearheads Homebase’s work to address collateral consequences of the criminal justice system. Prior to joining Homebase, Lily worked primarily with currently and formerly incarcerated persons as a legal and policy advocate. Her work included educational advocacy in youth detention, public health advocacy in adult prisons, and post-conviction representation for clients under sentence of death in California.
