As a Policy Analyst at Homebase. Nora works with Bay Area Continuum of Care to provide technical and strategic planning assistance, as well as supporting in evaluating and addressing needs and goals according to evidence-based best practices. Nora has extensive experience in homeless advocacy as a person with lived experience of homelessness, as well as organizing experience supporting unhoused neighbors through direct action.

Prior to joining Homebase Nora worked in electoral political work, doing grassroots political education, door knocking and phone banking throughout Alameda County. Nora has lived in Oakland for over a decade now, and holds a BA in Communications from The Ohio State University and a JD from Western Michigan. In their spare time Nora can be found deeply engrossed in any afrofuturist science fiction novel or comic book.
