Targeted Homelessness Prevention Webinars

2026

In partnership with Right at Home, Homebase is building a national network of experts to deepen the impact of homelessness prevention as a crucial intervention in homelessness response. As a part of that effort, we are hosting a series of community meetings. Recordings and materials from past sessions are included below. Spotlight on National Examples

In partnership with Right at Home, Homebase hosted a webinar to spotlight national examples of prevention in action. The webinar focused on three key phases of homelessness prevention: (1) access and targeting, (2) service delivery and stabilization, and (3) outcomes and evaluation. We welcomed speakers from three regions to discuss their homelessness prevention systems and key challenges.

Spotlight on Lived Experience Perspectives

In partnership with Right at Home, Homebase convened a listening session with individuals with lived experience of homelessness or housing insecurity, focused on the homelessness prevention model. Too often, when community models are elevated, the focus centers on systems and providers rather than the people those programs are serving. The lived experience listening session aimed to create space to hear directly from individuals about what is working in prevention efforts, what is missing, and what needs to change. This is one step toward ensuring lived experience voices help inform and shape the national dialogue on prevention.
