Nikole Joseph Thomas

Nikole works with Bay Area Continuums of Care to implement, evaluate, and strengthen coordinated entry systems that enable communities to use existing resources effectively. She facilitates inter-community planning processes and capacity-building to strengthen systemic responses. She engages programs and communities in strategic planning to evaluate and address needs and goals. Nikole writes grant applications to increase programmatic and systematic capacity and function. She designs and conduct trainings and provides technical assistance to ensure regulatory compliance and promote the use of evidence-based best practices. Prior to joining Homebase, Nikole has worked on researching and analyzing conditional cash transfers targeting rural communities, worked on policy research supporting criminal justice reform, and has worked in the education realm. Nikole has a BA in Economics from the University of California Los Angeles and an MPA from the Fels Institute of Government at the University of Pennsylvania.
