As a Interim Director at Homebase, Jessie Hewins supports technical assistance to aid states and communities in their work to end homelessness. She conducts research and produces reports, surveys, and other tools, and helps to organize and facilitate convenings and trainings, including on Housing First and lowering barriers to entry for housing programs. Ms. Hewins supports communities in strategic planning and implementation, system performance and planning, and in preparing for the annual Continuum of Care competition. Her areas of expertise include effective use of mainstream resources and optimizing self-sufficiency. Ms. Hewins received her BA from the University of California, San Diego, and her JD from the University of Southern California.
